Glenmorangie Whisky Weekend for Two

Visit the home of Glenmorangie - one of Scotland’s finest malt whiskies - for a fascinating tour and a warm Highland welcome. You’ll arrive in time for afternoon tea at the five-star Glenmorangie Hotel. Meet your fellow guests over pre-dinner drinks and enjoy a traditional Scottish supper. Then put your feet up by the fire and enjoy the ambience at this intimate, cosy hotel. The next day you’ll be chauffeured to the Glenmorangie Distillery for a tour, malt whisky tasting and lunch. The distillery has been making Glenmorangie the same way since 1843, and you’ll learn about the craftsmanship of the legendary ‘Sixteen Men of Tain’ who work there. Back at the house, a tutored malt whisky tasting is followed by a fabulous Highland evening: a black tie gala dinner, with a sumptuous set Scottish menu (pipes and haggis included!) followed by a ceilidh and a second night’s accommodation at the hotel. You’ll also receive a bottle of the ten year old malt to take home.

Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir Break for Two

It’s hard to say what’s best about Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. Is it the glorious Cotswold location, the beautiful gardens, the individually decorated rooms or the exceptional food? Le Manoir is the fulfilment of chef Raymond Blanc’s vision to open the perfect hotel and restaurant. Housed in a lovingly restored 15th century manor, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and spend some special time together. The menu has been described as ‘a twist of imaginative genius’ and the cuisine is undoubtedly the focus of every guest’s visit. You’ll enjoy a five course Menu Classique meal at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in a superb Junior Suite. The following morning, after a fine French breakfast, take some time to wander in the beautiful gardens: a magnificent two acre vegetable and herb garden, an English water garden, fed by natural springs, and a tranquil Japanese tea garden. You’ll also take home a signed copy of one of Raymond’s cookery books.

Overnight Wine Tasting Break in The Country with Dinner for Two

You know you like wine, but you’re not sure how to tell a good one from a bad. Is it corked? Is it a bad year? Which wine will impress your friends, Chateauneuf du Pape or Asti Spumante? Well, stop worrying. Wine should be a pleasure, not a dinner party anxiety, and with this experience you can learn to quaff with confidence. Our wine experts have hosted 1,400 tasting shows in 39 countries, so they know their stuff. They can help you differentiate good wines from bad, find fabulous bargains and avoid problem wines. You’ll taste a variety of reds and whites, learn how to match them with food, then work in teams to identify wines in the blind tasting challenge. After your tasting, relax over dinner and then retire for the night (subject to availability you will be housed either in a room in the main house or in accommodation next to it). Wake up to a full English breakfast the following morning to round off your experience.
