Airport parking types explained
Which suits you depends on your budget, your flight times and how much luggage you have.
Meet and greet
Drive to the terminal and hand your keys to a driver, who parks your car and brings it back when you land.
Park and ride
Leave your car at a car park near the airport and take a short shuttle bus to and from the terminal. Often the best value.
On-airport parking
Car parks at the airport itself, within walking distance of the terminal or a short bus ride away.
Hotel and parking
Stay at an airport hotel the night before an early flight and leave your car there while you're away.
Tips for booking airport parking
- Book ahead: parking is usually cheaper booked in advance than paid on the day.
- Check which terminal you fly from, as some car parks serve one terminal only.
- Allow time for shuttle buses and queues, especially at busy times.
- Read the cancellation terms and what's included before you book.
Prices, availability and booking terms are set by each parking provider. You book directly with them, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
